I'm a creative leader, educator, and designer.
My career has been shaped by a few things I keep coming back to: learning, making, teaching, solving problems, and creating the conditions for people to do their best work.
Design has been the constant, but I've moved through a lot of different kinds of work along the way. Graphic designer, international program director, expedition leader, teacher, brand manager, creative leader, and design manager. Each role added something to how I think, work, and lead.
I spent six years designing and directing international expeditions and fifteen summers leading them in the field. Planning month-long programs across multiple countries taught me to prepare carefully while expecting the plan to change. Weather, illness, delays, unexpected problems. I learned to adapt, assess a situation, make clear decisions, be comfortable not having all the answers, and stay calm and positive when everyone else is looking to you for a cue.
My years teaching design and photography taught me something important: people don't all learn the same way. I learned to meet people where they were, recognize their strengths and potential, break down complex ideas, give useful feedback, and create the space for confidence and capability to grow. I still think about those lessons when I'm building creative teams and helping people do their best work.
Today, I lead creative teams across design, UX/UI, video, brand, and marketing. I care about high standards, low ego, and teams that are human at their core. I want talented people to have room to contribute, challenge ideas, take ownership, and grow. I want the work to be something we're proud to put into the world.
I'm still a maker at heart. I love design, photography, building things with my hands, and exploring whatever catches my curiosity. I'm fascinated by how people interact with the world around them, from branding and user interfaces to physical products and everything in between.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me enjoying time in nature with my family, traveling, riding bikes, skiing, in my studio making things, or out by the campfire with my guitar long after everyone else has gone to sleep.
